Thrissur, Kerala: A 60-year-old man died after being electrocuted by an illegal electric trap allegedly set up to ward off wild boars in Thrikkur’s Kallayi area of Thrissur district.

The deceased has been identified as Gopi (60), son of Subran of Pallatheri, Kallayi. His body was found on the property of a nearby resident, Joseph of Thekkeyil.
